Eventim Officiële Ticketprovider FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 in Nederland en België

NL: Hoofddorp, 30 september 2025 – De Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond (KNHB) en Hockey Belgium hebben Eventim gekozen als officiële ticketprovider voor de FIH World Cup Hockey 2026. Het toernooi wordt in België georganiseerd met de steun van sportevenementenorganisator Golazo. Het toernooi vindt in augustus 2026 plaats in Nederland en België en zal naar verwachting ruim 130.000 bezoekers ontvangen. De primaire kaartverkoop verloopt volledig via Eventim.

Vertrouwen door ervaring, versterkt door innovatie
De KNHB werkt al jarenlang samen met Eventim en breidt die samenwerking voor het WK Hockey 2026 verder uit. Voor dit toernooi maken de organisatoren gebruik van de technologie van Eventim die eerder al werd toegepast bij internationale topsportevenementen, zoals bij de FIH Pro League in juni. Daarbij viel op dat er meer parkeertickets werden verkocht dan in eerdere jaren, omdat bezoekers deze direct konden toevoegen aan hun bestelling. De positieve ervaringen tijdens dit evenement vormden de basis om dezelfde technologie ook bij het WK in te zetten.

Fans kunnen hun bestelling bovendien zelf kiezen, bijvoorbeeld door te wisselen van tribune of speeldag, en extra’s zoals parkeertickets direct toevoegen. Zo houden zij zelf de regie en kunnen wij ons richten op de organisatie van het evenement. Met Eventim hebben we een provider die zowel technisch als in beleving begrijpt wat belangrijk is voor onze fans.”

Een evenement van internationale allure
Het WK Hockey 2026 wordt gezamenlijk georganiseerd door Nederland en België en belooft een uniek sportevenement te worden dat fans uit de hele wereld samenbrengt. Het toernooi vindt plaats van 15 tot en met 30 augustus, met de finales op 29 augustus in Nederland en 30 augustus in België.
